The Annotated Bibliography of the Legal Profession in Canada

Joint project of the Law Society of Upper Canada Archives and the Legal Research Institute of the University of Manitoba. Scope of the project is to compile an annotated bibliography of published sources relating to the legal profession in Canada from 1760 to the present. Included are monographs, edited collections, pamphlets, and articles from academic and popular journals. Excluded are newspaper articles, material in the published works included that do not istitute discrete items (for example, references to the legal profession in the debates of the provincial legislatures), and primary sources of law (statutes and law reports).
