Texas Lease Co-Signer Agreement

If you're leasing a rental unit to a tenant who is a minor (such as a student), have a parent or guardian of the tenant sign this Texas Lease Co-Signer Agreement.

The co-signer agrees to:

• allow the landlord to check his or her credit,
• guarantee the tenant's compliance with the rental agreement,
• pay the rent if the tenant fails to do so.
